Cydney is from Heber City, UT and is a senior at Southern Utah University studying nutrition. Cydney says “[Working at Havenwood] has taught me so much about communication, the population we work with, and even about myself. Outside of work I love to hike with my German Shepard, Moose; and cook. While in the houses my favorite days are art day and sports day. It amazes me the talent that some of these girls have and I love that they get to express it during the week. I also love to teach them new sports and getting to mess around with them. Sports are important to me because I grew up a gymnast and competed on team USA, as well as played rugby in high school; so I love getting to share that passion with them. The Hope group has taught me a TON, and I love coming to work with drive and a purpose every day!”
”Cyd is an outstanding staff and is always willing to learn and take on whatever role she is asked to. She has been asked to take on quite a few roles here including filling in for team leads, balancing school and work, helping our students with self care and hygiene, and many more! This last month, Cyd was asked to switch houses for a while to help out in another location, that can be a tough task for a staff, and Cyd took it on and has thrived in this role. She is excited to get back to Havenwood, but for now she is very willing and helpful over at Zion Hills. ”
